20 week scan nerves anyone?

Hi ladies,

Did/does anyone else have crazy nerves before the 20 week scan. Mines tomorrow and I feel really silly but so scared. I had a normal twelve week scan, have grown a nice bump and pretty sure I feel the little one wiggling (its my first) but I'm really scared! Just want it to be tomorrow now so I can know how things are.

I keep thinking I won't worry anymore after the 20 week scan but probably kidding myself!

I know it's nearly impossible but try not to worry! I was exactly the same at my 20 week scan - in fact I've been nervous at all my appointments (I'm 34 + 4). It just shows how much you care. You've done the right thing posting here as I've received amazing support and advice from the other Mners. Try to concentrate on how lovely it will be to see your baby again - there will have been so many changes since last time, it's really exciting. Wishing you all the very best !

I was very nervous before my 20 week scan, much more so than my 12 week scan! So it's totally normal but really try not to worry as I am sure everything will be perfect. Once I was in there I relaxed completely and the lady doing the scan was so lovely! It will be amazing to see your baby in such detail so try and look forward to it

I was also nervous before my 20 week scan (though I was much worse before my 12 week one).

Like Ginnytonic82 I still feel nervous at appointments even now at 32 weeks and I think it is just because we care so much.

I have to say my 20 week scan was amazing and so detailed plus the sonographer was lovely so hard as it is try to relax and look forward to it - I'm sure you'll be fine xx

I had my 20 week scan on Monday ....... everything is ok and I'm having a boy :):)

I was so nervous about it all day and during it though.
