First Scan

Hi, I'm very anxious about my first scan. I'm in Northumberland the process here is a welcome group meeting with the midwives, then the booking in appointment which I had at 10 weeks and 4 days then you're supposed to receive a letter with the 12week scan date and another with a date with the consultant. At my booking in appointment my pregnancy was categorised as high risk and my choice of hospital was taken from me. I have severe anxiety, depression and OCD (the OCD revolves around hospitals) and at the minute I'm 11 weeks 5days and I still haven't received my scan date. I'm very worried that they aren't going to book me in in time for all of the tests and not knowing the date is affecting my therapy which is preparing me for a hospital visit. I might sound ridiculous but I'm really worked up, I need to know dates and times. I cannot deal with being in the dark, I'm going to be letting work down by not giving them any notice (I've only just returned to work after many month on the sick with my MH). I called the number I was given for the midwife and my doctors surgery but neither were helpful, I only got to talk to receptionists.
Does anyone else have any experience where they haven't received their letter, or been given no notice for the scan or been given a date that is after 12-13 weeks?
So sorry for the long post and probably sounding completely ridiculous as you can probably guess this is our first baby.
Thanks in advance :)

I'm in Northumberland too and had a very late scan - close to the cut off for screening. I also had to be seen at north tyneside as it is so busy at the minute. I would try phoning appointments at your booking hospital. I think you ask to speak to the ante natal clinic. They were very helpful with me as they originally booked my scan for a bank holiday! It's so scary at the beginning as you don't seem to have contact or be able to speak to anyone other than receptionists!
