Sickness gone - now an emotional wreck at 19 weeks...

I am 19 weeks pregnant and have only recently stopped having morning sickness.

Now I find I have become a complete emotional wreck. Everything upsets me and/or stresses me out - silly things like having to sort out a clash of arrangements (both social, neither the end of the world) or a taxi driver who is also (like me) unable to lift my heavy bag.

DH can see that I am a bit sensitive at the moment and is being supportive etc, but I would much rather not be feeling this way!

Any advice? Or just common ground?

I am never one for getting teary and emotional, but my god, I spent my entire pregnancy bawling my eyes out. I look back and laugh now, but it's bloody intense when you're going through it. You have my sympathy - as does your partner Wink

This happened to me too. 14 weeks of horrible nausea, a couple of weeks respite and then the bawling! Now almost 20 weeks and stressed at work, pissed off by mother, exhausted, tearful... And people keep reminding me that the second trimester is the "good" bit!

People really know how to put the boot in when you're pregnant don't they?

Everything from "this is the honeymoon period you know" to "you must have known it would be difficult when you decided to have a baby"!

Also when I had morning sickness with first child, people kept reminding me about thalidomide babies, as though I was being a selfish cow for complaining about it!
