Oh dear..

We had a bit of an accident at the weekend. My period is due round about now so not sure I would be pregnant. I have 3 children in secondary school and I am 40, I really didnt think I wanted another child but now Im not so sure, I think I will be quite upset if I get my period. Am I being selfish wanting another child at my age?

No, you're not being selfish at all imo! Lots of women have children when their other children are of secondary school age :)

Aww thank you.

DH would probably pass out, Ive not mentioned anything yet.
Its so scary and exciting, I hope I am pregnant, although unlikely :(

It's not selfish. But if you only had sex a couple of days ago and your period is due today, the likelihood of you being pregnant is slim to none.

FWIW, I'm pregnant with DC3. DC1 is in y9 and DC2 is in y8. I'll be 36 next week. If you're selfish, so am I :o
