Scared to eat due to morning sickness

I'm now 14+2 with dc3 and still suffering quite badly with morning sickness. I'm sick daily, sometimes twice a day. Normally I get a bit of warning that I'm likely to be sick as the feeling builds over an hour or two, however last night and this morning I threw up what I'd eaten with pretty much no warning. Since falling pregnant I've lost 25lbs because of the constant nausea and sickness (I had a high bmi so its not as worrying as it sounds).

The problem is I'm getting put off even trying to eat. I really had to force myself to make some lunch today as I could barely face the thought of eating in case I was sick again without much warning again. Anyone almost had a fear of eating because of the sickness. I literally dread mealtimes at the moment. I'm starting to wonder if I should be going to the dr's and talk about the possibility of anti sickness medication. I've held back so far because I don't really think it counts as hyperemesis so I figured I just needed to get on with it.

I honestly thought it be starting to ease of soon but it just seems to get worse! Any advice welcome.

What helped me was keeping my blood sugar levels up. I used to drink squash with glucose poweder disolved in it. And eating little and often helps, rather than having a proper meal at longer intervals.

Feel your pain though - I was really ill with both DCs - I have been sick everywhere!

Welcome to pregnancy, dear! Wink

Just try and forces yourself to eat little and often. I am skeptical when it comes to any types of anti sickness medication, nothing worked for me until I discovered Arrowroot Biscuits, I was never sick again. Grin
