Hello

Im pg with dc7 including 5 mc's. 33 weeks with ds and have a beautiful little girl who's 13 months:-)

Due to my dd being on the small side born at 38+4 weighing 5ib 7oz's, i had growth scans throughout my pregnancy with her and have had this time with my current pregnancy! I'm petite size 8 pre pregnancies and 5'3 and inky weighed 5ibs myself at 40 weeks!

I've had 2 scans so one at 28+4 weeks and baby was great head down estimated weight about 3ibs and on the 50th percentile so spot on, been back this week at 32+4 weeks and all good baby weight about 4ibs between 10th and 50th percentile, got to go back in two weeks to check the growth hasn't slowed any more! I'm worried now my dd was always small she didn't grow well then slow like he has!

Anybody gone through or going through similar? Probably just my hormones worrying over everything at the minute.

In case this helps - my DS's growth rate slowed towards the end of the pregnancy and pretty much stopped at the end from what I remember. I can't remember the exact details, but I think they noticed my bump had stopped growing at about 36 weeks and I was sent for a check up scan, and he was measuring proportionately smaller at that point - around 50th percentile, having been around 75th before, I think. He was born at 40+10 (!) and was exactly on the 50th percentile. I hope everything's ok for you when you go back for your next scan.

To be honest, late scans are pretty inaccurate. Especially if one is anomalous. The consultants were panicking when DD jumped from 50th to 99th percentile and she was born at a very average 7'11.
I don't think you should be concerned.

@unknownscot thank you so much for sharing. I totally freaked myself out after reading about it. It only seems to happen to me when I'm sitting up from lying down or moving on to my side etc. I'll check if it's soft next time I do and try and avoid. I'm seeing the Physio next week for my back so I'll defo ask then xx

@Vimto1991 and everyone else with work pressures, I'm joining the bandwagon. I went back today after having to take last week off. My boss told me that the rest of the team are off next week and I'll need to cover all their meetings on top of my own...A good way to treat a pregnant woman I think not!!!

@MrsTwentyNine we had a scan yesterday. On the 50th percentile so bang on the middle line, 28 weeks + 2 and weighing around 2lb11. It's so funny to think of them as real wee humans now isn't it!xx
