Is this normal?

I had pretty dire all day morning sickness with my first. Constant nausea. It was horrible but managed to eat and drink went away gradually between 12-16 weeks.

This time is so different though. Started as the nausea like before at 6 weeks, then quickly became like a flu and has been since. Now 9 weeks and I've been bedridden since. I'm running a temperature constanly, shivering a lot, hot and cold flashes. I've been out the house twice since I got pregnant and find it hard to even walk down stairs at the moment. I'm so tired and often dizzy. I can't focus on things a lot and feel confused. I still manage to eat and drink enough to be physically healthy in that sense.

Did anyone else have this? Its like a never ending flu and frankly any medical professional doesnt give the time of day or doesn't care, they just repeat all the crap about ginger biscuits.

How do I know this is normal and just dire ms and not something more sinister?

I have dire MS again but I wouldn't describe it as flu. I am knackered and want to spend most of the day in bed but not running a temperature. Sounds more like flu to me. Do you or did you have a sore throat?

I've had the cold too in the last week, DS gave me it, and had a sore throat. But the temperatures been there for three weeks now.

Go see your GP dear, I've never heard of sickness being described as bring flu-like.

hope you're okay!
