I got advised to get a sleep bra so I bought a pack of two from mothercare, my boobs aren't huge so went for medium size. But I can't wear it..so uncomfy!! Am I the only one..perhaps I should've bought a large but I'm a 12 and large size was 16-18 so prob would be too big ...what a massive waste of money. Do u bother to wear a bra in bed??

I wore a soft bra when my boobs went crazy in first trimester as they were so heavy and sore - and I'm now a 38GG!

I now either wear nothing or a nightie with a support shelf thingy from Mamas and Papas (also have clips for breastfeeding) but that's mainly because it's more comfortable for wandering around, it does nowt in bed.

Why were you advised to wear a sleep bra? You only need it if you feel uncomfortable without it!

I bought a soft sleep bra type thing from Sainsbury's for £5.00, very comfy! I wouldn't 't normally bother but am BF so need something for the breast pads and leaky boobs, lol! I bought a large despite the size guide on the pack...

I wear those Genie bra things in bed. They are very soft and comfortable, you don't know you're wearing them.

I went for a fitting at mothercare and she suggested a sleep bra in bed for extra support..£20 later plus the bras I bought..feel a bit conned. I tried it on when I got home and it didn't feel too bad so I washed them both, went to wear one last night and after about 5 mins I felt so restricted I took it off. I think she suggested just as some extra support but my boobs don't hurt at all anymore..I'm 25 wks today. They even told me I must'nt wear underwired bras either.... Not sure on this one too as I never have a problem with them xx

I'm uncomfortable in bed without some breast support. When it's warm at night I wear a soft bra, but if I actually want a top on I wear a stretchy vest (Primark seamless £3 each).

All I've been able to stand wearing whilst pregnant is sports bras, even then I can't sleep in them unless I have to! When expecting DD2, my milk came in early (about 25wks!!) and my boobs were so heavy and painful for the duration until around my due date. DD was 9days overdue and milk had dried up by then! Never really came back but were really sensitive for months.

This time I'm now 21wks and have been having the same achy feeling but veins look a lot darker and more prominent?? Don't remember this last time so gonna ask midwife next week

I might try the cheap soft bras, if I can find one that fits, mainly for leakage issues, if I have them.

Advice is not to wear underwired as it doesn't move with the rapidly changing breat tissue and can cause dage. However, you can get mat bras with flexible wiring. I have two from bravissimo and they support me well. I am 36G.

I also have two non wired which are comfy too and do offer me support, but not as much as the flexi wired ones.
