I can't get enough of hula hoops a fresh fruit juice Confused anyone else feeling the same? Thankfully no weird cravings yet apart from needed ice in a drink and getting some comfort out of crunching it Shock

I could eat hula hoops now you mentioned it.

K8eee · 27/09/2013 15:29

I'm needing either plain old salted, beef or salt and vinegar. Dunno what's wrong with me Grin

Fruit, fruit juice, fruity flavoured anything ... you name it I WANT FRUIT Smile Have been off crisps and chocolate though - which is really weird! haha

K8eee · 27/09/2013 16:40

Oranges, mangoes, bananas and marmite! Weirdly I wanted marmite so much the other day I started crying because I knew it would Tate good with the banana I was eating.
Oh and cinnamon. I want cinnamon on everything and lots of it.

Mogz · 27/09/2013 16:45

Wouldn't taste** stupid spelling!

K8eee · 27/09/2013 17:04

Grin Ah mogz I've yet to get that desperate! Although I did have to make a quick dash to sainsburys the other week just so I could make a chicken, bacon and advocado sandwich. I was bitterly disappointed as it didn't taste how I wanted it too Hmm

This made me laugh a lot, I could have written this post a few months ago. I'm now sat with DS curled up on my chest, it's been a while since I was obsessed with hula hoops, marmite and OJ Smile

Mogz · 27/09/2013 17:12

Ooh K8eee that sounds yummy. Thankfully it's been my only totally bonkers food moment and no one but the cats were around to witness it.

K8eee · 27/09/2013 17:15

Well it was but a couple of years ago I used to work along from an AMAZING sandwich shop, so I wanted there one; my one was nice but a let down Grin

Hahahah yes! Ready salted hula hoops...OMG so funny. I've also been making mango lassi - really random.

puddleduck16 · 27/09/2013 20:33

My body is also wanting salt and cold juice, although has to be fizzy cold juice for some reason!!!! So just adding diet lemonade or fizzy water to fruit juice.

K8eee · 27/09/2013 20:59

Puddleduck I was into fizzy stuff a few weeks ago but have gone onto still fruit infused drinks! Grin What is worrying is how dehydrated I'm feeling Confused I never really felt thirsty before I fell pregnant it's only been the last week or so it's increased. I just hope it's not a sign of gestational diabetes Blush

K8eee I'm also incredibly thirsty And worried about the same thing. I had a friend recently give birth who was perfectly healthy but had to drink at least 2 l a day min. I suppose when I didn't drink enough before the proper amount is a lot. Esp if the wee one wants a bit extra too!!!

K8eee · 27/09/2013 21:25

It's definitely that I'm eating more salt. Throwing that one out there before someone else does. Well my my had it when pregnant with me and she now has type 2 as she's got older and my sister was diagnosed with type 2 at the age of 16, so I'm worried in that sense. Yeah it does seem a lot when you hardly drink anything anyway. How many weeks are you puddle duck?

OP posts:
puddleduck16 · 27/09/2013 21:34

That's me 20 now. And pee and bloods were ok at last midwife appt. so I'm assuming it's just the extra salt and didn't drink properly before!! How far along are you?

K8eee · 27/09/2013 21:39

When I went for my last appt with mw they said my pee was ok, but got an appt a week Monday so shall defo mention it then. I'm 14+5 weeks Smile

Sarahmains40 · 27/09/2013 22:58

Normally my whole life I have had a sweet tooth my main reason for being over weight is I just can live with out chocolate, I love all things sweet.....untill been pregnant apple juice I crave but throw up and gives me indigestion. But I've hardly ate any sweet things pickled onion space raider and salt and finger hula hoops are my main goal haha. Funny how things change. It was my birthday last week and friends got me some boxes of chocs still got unopened boxes which is weird as I'm normally half way through a box while opening the rest of my pressies lol very weird

Sarahmains40 · 27/09/2013 23:00

Serious stuff lime cordial and lemonade yum haven't had that in ages. going to have to send my hubby to the shop now ;)

Sarahmains40 · 27/09/2013 23:01

Vinegar not finger lol that would be weird

Thisisfreakingmeout · 27/09/2013 23:59

I'm in too. Lost my usual sweet tooth. It's all about hula hoops (red), mine cheddar and cheese and pickle sandwiches.
