I'm 26 weeks and having braxton hicks. Its been extremely uncomfortable, I cant sleep and I get this rush of blood that goes right up to my head and feels like my head is about to explode. I also have cramps in my lower belly and back, nothing seems to help. I am so unbelievably tired, I feel like i'm on the verge of tears. Is this normal. Should I be worried?

no worries.
you have them all the way through the pregnancy, but most people don't feel them until the 3rd trimester.

the more kids you have the earlier you might feel them too.
with my 6th I felt them around 20 weeks!

if you are worried talk to your MW or GP

Congrats on pg!Thanks

Thanks Zing!
That makes sense. I didnt have them with my first, so its all strange and new. Both pregnancies are worlds apart.

sorry, just re-read your post carefully - I only picked up the BH issue at first.

I actually think you should contact someone and possibly get checked.
the headaches and back ache and lower tummy pain may or may not be something.

if you have actual contractions you need to go to the hospital asap!

I had what you are describing except the rush of blood and I am at 39+4 now. You do want to monitor your blood pressure carefully, and with all those symptoms together I'd also recommend getting this checked out!
