So having a home birth my midwife always comes to my house for appointments anyway but today she's bringing her supporting midwife and stand in midwife to look around the house so they can familiarise themselves with where everything is.

I now have 2 hours to make it look like I'm a clean human not a sluttish lazy cow who has spent the last month lying in bed eating chocolate and donuts and watching Breaking Bad. Argh!

Oh, and my masseuse is coming too as she's attending the birth.

Maybe I should just set fire to the house and run off?

I'd have hired a cleaner Grin

Thanks to you I have just added donuts to my shopping list Grin

Hubby has been making donuts. I swear he's one of those 'feeders' that's just trying to make me huge.

Either that or he's trying to shut me up for 5 minutes.

I'd love to get a cleaner but I'm too OCD about them finding it clean in the first place and them not doing it as clean as I like lol.

That and my mil would think I'm a failure as a human if I'm not down on my knees scrubbing my own floor.

I wouldn't worry the MWs survived visiting and delivering DD2 in my chaotic place.

Because I live in the sticks I had about six appear during my PG. It was before sat nav and they all wanted to be able to find us in case they were on shift.

They were all lovely and I never felt my toddler induced chaos was judged at all.

Well you may not be able to clean up in time when you go into labour so why worry about it now? I'm sure they've seen much worse many times (like when they visited me!)

I bloody will.

In my dreams I'll have a nice, long first part where I can clean the house and make biscuits for everyone lol.

I have very little control left, having a tidy house is the last bastion of it. :D
