I felt movement at 13 and a half weeks first time, I'm sure what you are feeling is your child, I told myself I hadn't felt the feeling before getting pregnant so there's only one explanation for it!

I had definitely felt it from 16 weeks, however for many weeks before I was feeling a gassy fluttering sensation which everyone around me insisted was not the baby as it was too early. I think it started around 13 or 14 weeks. By the time I got to 16 weeks there was no mistake about it - she was kicking.

i felt like a popping from 18 weeks.. then from about 22 weeks i could feel her moving about... felt like i had worms in the tummy. so weird lol x

I felt a weird kind of throbbing at about 16/17 weeks - like blood rushing in a vein. Worked out about a fortnight later that it was DC...

Not until after the 20 week scan. Felt like a little muscle twitching inside.

Felt flutters at 14 weeks, anything from then to 23ish weeks is normal in a first pregnancy so I hear.

xo your rumbly stomach sounds very similar to what I had- I have a pretty loud stomach normally, but from weeks ~13 onwards it felt more rumbly than normal, and at about 19-20 weeks it dawned on me that the rumblings were different and stronger and were my baby, not my dinner!

I'd describe the feeling as like a fish swishing its tail around inside me, until at some point they got harder and turned into more noticeable kicks. I'm now 39 weeks and have been really enjoying a couple of months of quite strong movements, it feels like the baby and I are playing a game with each other where it kicks and I prod it back, it's lovely Smile

Hi,

With my first I felt movement at 20 weeks.
I had twinges which I thought might be movement before then but I actually felt movement at 20 weeks xx

applepieinthesky · 24/09/2013 12:41

I felt flutters at around 14/15 weeks but thought I was imagining it because I had read it was too early. Looking back though it was definitely baby moving.
