Hi all,

In the last week my DP was been annoying the crap out of me, he's doing nothing differently at all, just everything seems to get on my nerves. I love him very much and was wondering whether this is normal pregnancy thing (I'm 19 weeks) If so how long did it last for people?

I'm 34 weeks and it just gets worse. :( I've tried just avoiding him now as I can be a deeply unpleasant person from 0-10 seconds. He's an angel and doesn't deserve it but even his breathing irritates me lol.

lol, weirdly that makes me feel better, wasn't sure whether it was just me!

Yep same here. First pregnancy was worse as I didn't recognise that it was me that was the problem haha. This time, like BummyMummy, I just remove myself from escalating situations and put it down to pregnancy. Much calmer this time around although if something really gets my goat, all hell can and does break loose. Yesterday was terrible because DH was genuinely out of order but I completely over-reacted haha.

Oh an dyes, the very existence of my husband is sometimes annoying in itself. I read alone in the bedroom a lot these days......

You go off certain things when you are pregnant, I have owned up to my dh that I have gone off him, i have also gone off my children. They are all deeply irritating.......never mind!

LOL @ your children being deeply irritating. :D

Heaven forbid if my poor dh actually do anything wrong let alone live.

A few months ago he woke me up napping by chainsawing outside of the window.

He couldn't hear the screaming over the noise and by the time he'd finished he was confronted with a pile of his clothes, shoes and books on the lawn and a hysterically sobbing wife, naked, eye make-up all running down my face and hair all knotty and frizzy lobbing his treasured possessions like frisbees off the front porch. :D

Luckily we don't have neighbours.

Before we knew I was pregnant he lit candles for dinner and the smell of the match just blew me into orbit and I opened the window and threw my dinner outside.

We laugh about it now (him nervously) but really, I've been a unhinged bitch at times and I feel incredibly guilty and grateful he hasn't upped and left.
