preterm labour?

I Will be 35 weeks tomorrow with no3.
My last two were born at around their dd with no probs.
At 20 weeks this time I had a small bleed and they found out I had partial pp.
At 32 weeks it had moved out of the way so am now in the clear. I did notice however that my cervix was shorter than normal. (33cm at 20 weeks and 27mm at 32 weeks) nothing was mentioned about this though so I guess they were not woried.

Anyway the last week I came down with a sore throat and felt awful for a few days. Had a little pelvic dull pain.
Today I have felt really sick and exhausted and have had same dull period like pain and lower back. I just feel generally pretty awful.

I just wondered if this could be a sign of approachig labour?
I also feel hot and cold. One minute I feel really hot and then I'm cold.

...Or do you think this is just normal end of pregnancy stuff?

If anything happened now would they stop labour too and has anyone else started preterm labour this way?

hello Frecklesandspecs im 34 weeks and on dc3 ive had alot of pelvic pain and pressure and lower backache last few days and it just seems to be one of those joyful pregnancy things ive allways gone overdue so not expecting to go early this time either just wanted to say hang in their your nearly there i would guess they would stop it but dont quote me as ive never gone early lol take care

Hi. Ds2 was born at 36 weeks, and I had twinges and period pain from before 35 weeks.

I didn't have the hot and cold thing though. Do you think it would be an infection? I think it's worth a phonecall to the midwife or GP tomorrow, just to check.

It could be sitting. Baby has been moving Lot this evening also. Still feeling really sick though. If no better tomorrow I think I may go and check everything is ok. X
