Help need surprise third and getting married!
Today, 10:49 AM #1

Hi, I have just joined so I have no idea if this is the correct place to post.
I have just found out I am expecting my third baby, I have a 14 yr old and a 8 yr old, I also have a coil fitted and only half a right ovary left due to a dermoid cyst and a simple cyst, so god know how I got pregnant, my doctor says its a miracle! The thing is I am getting married in November to my partner of 16 yrs, I have the wedding dress, fits me perfectly, all paid for and now I will be 13 weeks pregnant on my wedding day! I really can't remember how much weight I put on or how big my belly got, I feel gutted at the timing of it all! I got pregnant in2010 with the coil in but had to have a termination due to a dermoid cyst at the same time, so they tried the pill on me due to my body getting pregnant withthecoil, however last September I got a blood clot in my lung due to the pill, so I can't go on that, in may this year I have my left ovary removed due to a simple cyst of 8cm and at the same time had the marina coil put it as its ment to stop you ovulating, so I could minimise the risk ofgettinganother cyst on remain half ovary, however now I find my self 5 weeks pregnant, I have had hcg levels taken as the risk of eptopic and they tripled in two days, so looks ok so far and having a scan on30th to see where coil is and to make sure pregnancy n right place! Can I still try and lose weight for my wedding or do I just accept my dress won't fit ! I am so full of questions at the moment, I also have to find out if I have a case against hospital because there is nowhere i my notes about the mirena coil being put in so no follow up appointment made to check if still there after first period , doctors say they only have notes about my operation no mention of the coil that's was fitted, I hope someone evading this will make sense of some of this, typing on my iPad so loads of spelling mistakes sorry

Congratulations!
I don't have much advice sorry but can you get your dress altered at all?

Firstly - Congratulations!

Secondly - I wouldn't try and lose weight now you're pregnant - hopefully you can get the dress altered and you might not be that visible then anyway?

Not much advice to give but hope it all goes well for you - pregnancy and wedding!

xx

Hi, thanks, just think I am panicking, it just we decided to get married on my dads birthday , as he had cancer last year and I looked after him until he died, so it changed my outlook on life and decided to give in to my partners requests of marriage, so really looking forward to the dress wedding, hen do lol, all going to be sober now! Lets home my. Belly stays in place, I think if I just eat healthy I should be ok, I understand diet is nt a good idea! I will be happier when I have my can a week on Monday to Make sure the bean is in the right place and hopefully my coil is well out the way of the pregnancy!
Thanks for your replies much appreciated
