Am currently 22 weeks pregnant and every saturday nite my oh goes out mostly without me as am either too tired/dont see the point/scared incase i get bumped into. I work away most of the week am home on thursdays til sunday. it takes me until saturday to feel anywhere well rested and then sat nite comes and hes away out. is it too much to ask of him to at least spend one full weekend with me every once in awhile? when i suggest doin somethin non alcohol related on a saturday nite his answer is sure we can do that friday nites or sunday nites. Am i overrreacting? cause lets face it i am a tad emotional Smile apartly things will be different when baby comes along but i have my doubts! sorry for the rant!

No hun, i dont think u are over reacting. Ur body is going thru some huuuge changes emotionally and physically. Have u tried explaing to him how u feel, explain to him that you havent got that many quiet saturdays to yourself until baby comes. He may think you are just 'nagging'. Try explaining this to him. If your feeling emotional on lots of occations, talj to your midwife. Thats what we're here for. Xxx

I don't think I would be impressed either tbh. Its not just the company, but the money he will spending and is he going to do it once the baby arrives? Things will change when that happens and priorities too.

thanks ladies apparently he wont be out every saturday nite when baby arrives but i have told him he needs to start proving him. apart from sat nites he is a supportive partner and gets us whatever we need i think if i wasnt away working during the week i wouldnt mind as much but i see little of him as if is. i feel really silly even ranting about it as in the grand scheme of things am generally happy and everything with the baby is healthy and where it should be
