I'm 14w pregnant with DC2 and I can safely say I look pregnant. I used to think I did when I was 7 weeks but that was definitely bloat.

I'm saying this because almost everyone has guessed now. I don't like announcing pregnancies (no idea why) so I'm happy people know now and I look pregnant rather than chubby.

so when wouid you say you looked 'properly' pregnant?

Hmm. I got a bump at about 16 weeks and started to look properly pregnant soon after 20 weeks. I hated just looking dead fat :p

Cavort · 20/09/2013 01:01

Mid 20's weeks for me before I stopped looking like a pie-eating champion and actually looked upduffed.

MrsVDB · 20/09/2013 01:21

I thought I looked pregnant at 15w ish and did get offered seats etc but could have just of easily been a beer belly. Now 22w and its pretty obvious, more so in tight clothes

kissmyshineymetalass · 20/09/2013 01:36

6 pregnancies and started to show on five of them at about 26 wks,on my 3rd didn't find out I was pregnant till I was 28 wks so round about then

freerangechickens · 20/09/2013 01:37

About 22 weeks with DS. And then somewhere between 8-9 weeks with DD.

Peacenquiet2 · 20/09/2013 10:31

Dc 1 was 26 weeksish, dc2 was 20 weeksish, this time with dc3 im still wearing normal jeans buttoned up at 15 weeks. Noone i hav'nt told has guessed and people who do know cant tell yet!

NutellaNutter · 20/09/2013 11:02

About six weeks. Seriously!

MissHC · 20/09/2013 12:03

At 8 weeks. And it wasn't bloating. Apparently my uterus is a strange shape and sort of poked forward.

Now 32 weeks and belly is all up front, nothing on the sides. I still have my waist and still fit in my normal trousers (can't close them though due to belly).

CuteLittleToes · 20/09/2013 12:11

26 weeks strangers could tell I'm pregnant. This is my first baby.

I look pregnant at 16 weeks, think its going to be a big baby! Although hopefully not too big as its my first! Shock

Sammie101 · 20/09/2013 14:03

Probably in the last month, I had a very tiny bump that was hidden well! I bought a pack of nappies in superdrug and the lady asked if I had just had a baby, she was very shocked when I told her I was due in 2 weeks! My friends mum who was a midwife said I must have a pelvis "the size of a bucket"

Sammie101 · 20/09/2013 14:07

Also when I took her into the big shop I worked in to meet my colleagues I had people coming up to me in shock saying they didn't even know I was pregnant.
On the plus side it was nice to pretty much go back to my normal figure after I had her and not still look pregnant, but I would have liked the whole strangers asking me about my bump and admiring it. At one of my midwife appointments a girl I knew who was 2 weeks ahead of me had a lovely big bump and the lady next to me started asking about her baby and wishing her well! I was a little jealous that she didn't even notice my bump and wish my LO well-very silly but there you go Hmm

I'm 17 weeks now and have just gone from the beer gut to proper bump stage. Thank frick.

Rubberstamp · 20/09/2013 18:20

I'm 25 weeks and it's only the last week that people can actually notice. Second baby. First was probably similar. Normally I'm a 10/12 size. I seem to carry babies inside my long torso rather than getting a pop out belly.

Xenadog · 20/09/2013 18:53

At about 17 or 18 weeks I definitely had a bump but even at 24 weeks some people couldn't tell.

sunflowered · 20/09/2013 20:01

18 weeks tomorrow with dc1 and bump has gone from 'too much cake?' to 'would you like my seat?' since last weekend. It feels like it's grown so quickly that I'm a little worried about it. I'm still not ruling out cake as the root cause for this growth spurt though.

ElleCloughie · 20/09/2013 20:14

Somewhere between 26-28 weeks. Before then I only looked pregnant when I wasn't wearing anything. I also don't like having to "announce" to everyone I meet that I am expecting, so I was rather annoyed it took so long to become obvious. I got serious bump envy when walking around baby shops with DH every time I saw another pregnant woman. Even now, people don't believe me when I say I am due in 2 weeks - my bump is very "neat"

EeyoreIsh · 20/09/2013 21:44

I'm 20 weeks and I have a bump that I know about because I usually have a flat tummy! I have dress that's tight so those that know me can guess, but my colleagues have been really surprised when I tell them I'm 20 weeks.

I am wide of hips and tall, so that might make a difference.

karamcleod · 21/09/2013 07:41

sleepywombat thanks for the reassurance, everyone keeps saying I'm going to have a mahoosive baby and of course I want a healthy baby but I'd rather not a big 10lb'r!! Still not really sure what to expect as it's my first :)
