First Movements - Infrequent = Normal?

So, I've been feeling the baby since last week (this is week 18 for me) - first of all as a percolating sort of feeling, but quite quickly as distinct, gentle kicks (which for some reason are most often right by my pubic bone).

Is it normal to feel something at this stage then not feel anything for quite a while? Like, maybe nothing solid for a day?

Does anyone else feel like pregnancy is FORVER? I mean, I'm really happy but how the hell am I going to make it through 22 more weeks?!

Yeah that was normal for me.
Sometimes they move into a position where you can feel them. But at 18 week it was always on and off until I was about 21 weeks then a felt her quite frequently.
I'm now 27 weeks and feel her everyday.

And yeah pregnancy feels forever I've literally had enough 13 weeks feels like a life time away!!

I've been feeling mine move for about two weeks now, I'm 20 weeks and the movements are still very random. He's normally guaranteed to kick first thing in the morning though or just as I get into bed but throughout the day there is no pattern at all yet
