if your blood pressure goes high towards end of pregnancy, can this just mean babys on the way?

Just I'm.34 weeks

Booking in bp 100/70

Bp now 130/90

Also I have gestational diaebetes

What did they say when they checked it? Did your midwife check it?

Mine was similar. At 38 weeks they did hypertension bloods and brought me in monitoring (her movements felt different). Everything was fine and I went into labour at 38+5.

hi have a littlefaith, well i got it checked at the hospital today as i was at the diabetes center
and it was fine today

Mine went high towards the end, about 34 weeks onwards. My iron levels had gone pretty low which caused mine. Started iron tablets at 37+3 and have birth at 38+6.

Hoping this pregnancy will be a bit more normal Grin

That's about the threshold for them keeping an eye on it more closely. BP tends. Go down in 2nd trimester and up in 3rd but anything where the bottom no. Is over 90 is mild hypotension ad normally monitored, possibly treated, over 100 definitely treated, over 110 admitted.
