I think it's already here! Went to a wedding on Saturday night and just on our table there were 3 4/5/6 week old babies (a lot of jiggling and juggling of one parent eating, then the other :0), with more new babies elsewhere, plus various bumps. It's a deluge.

I agree, there are loads of pregnant women around here at the mo, and loads who have just given birth. Makes me very jealous and broody.

wilbur · 16/02/2004 12:09

Yes, yes, more babies!

Out of the 20 mums at DS2s Nursery class (IFKWIM), 2 of us have had babies (within a week of each other), another is due about now, and another 2 are due early summer. So, we are all going to be doing the 11.30 run together again in 4 years!

I agree...Out of the 9 women in our department at work (about 50 total) 2 of us are due 2 weeks apart and another has just announced her pregnancy. 1/3 pregnant...must be something in the water.

When I was pg with ds, and still at work, out of a staff of less than 100 men and women there were 10 either on maternity leave or pregnant. Something about the chairs, I think. Ds was born in late Sept, and the midwives told me that there always more births around then because of all the partying that goes on around Xmas & New Year.
