first has anyone bought any tchibo materity jeans or the top and trouser set they do. They are certainly cheap. Have just ordered a pair from M&S but don't like them at all so need to keep looking.

Also has anyone been to H&M maternity section recently. I got a few really pretty things from there when pregnant with dd so want to go and check them out again.

I bought two tops from H&M today - a red and white polka dot Tshirt and a lilac one. Both were 9.99. I had to buy XL even though I'm only size 14 normally so I think their sizes come up small

LucyJones · 22/06/2006 21:22

sorry meant 9.99 each

tassis · 22/06/2006 21:22

I love H&M's maternity though I think they're sizes are small.

Have a couple of lovely H&M t-shirts and tops and great linen trousers

Trouser lengths are long (which suits me fine!)

Next have some pretty nice stuff too.

Happy shopping.

tassis · 22/06/2006 21:23

their sizes - aaargh!

Beauregard · 22/06/2006 21:23

I have always had to buy large -they do run small!

Carameli · 22/06/2006 21:26

thanks will definitely check the sizes. How about tchibo anyone bought from them?

H&M nursing bras are the bees knees - not at all matronly like Mothercare or M&S. I bought one in every colour.

pootlepod · 22/06/2006 22:06

I ordered both those things from tchibo. (I also sent them back, but when I ordered them I wasn't too sure I would keep them anyway, postage cost was the same so thought sod it).

I found the jeans were a bit skinny legged for my liking, they were also too long in the leg for me. they had a comfy waistband bit though The top/trouser set was better, but I have short legs and couldn't be fagged with taking them up.

I also ordered the cropped trousers with belt and have kept them.
Code 302270 gets £5 off £20 spend.

Glad to hear H&M mat sizes are small - was wondering why my medium top was on the tight size. Feel less like a heifer now!

Carameli · 23/06/2006 11:38

thanks for the code pootlepod.
Did the comfy waistband really seem as though it would last for a while? Will have another look at them I think as I like skinny ones more than boot cut ones.

wow grannygoose nursing bras in colours, I hated the black and white ones from last time. Have ordered a couple of multiway maternity bras from jojo maman bebe so waiting to see what they are like. But also eager to check out something with a bit of colour for a change....

I would have thought the waist would have lasted a while, it was like a small 'pouch' so very stretchy. The pouch didn't go down as far as some jeans do though (which I think is a good thing). Def worth trying if you like skinny look jeans.

trinityrhino · 23/06/2006 11:51

I don't want to have to lok like a frumpy old granny cause there is nothing nice
I love the sound of the polka dot top lucyjones, are there other things that aren't boring there?????????????????

and I didn't realise they did maternity bras....and in colours!!! thats amazing
