Vomiting and back pain?

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and have had to ring in sick at work the last 2 days due to bad lower back pain and vomiting. Do you think that the pain and sickness could be related? Also feel like I've been getting a tight feeling in my abdominal area. Do you think I need to speak to my midwife or just make a doctors appointment? Thanks in advance x

yes you need to be seen.
ring your delivery suite one of their staff can check you over as could be a UTI or something else that needs treating.

Please call your midwife! I am also 30 weeks and had similar and when I went in yesterday they said I was possibly in early labour. Don't want to care you but always better to be safe x

Thanks I'm just waiting for a call back from a midwife. Always feel like I'm overreacting but I don't suppose there is such a thing in pregnancy x

Rtfairy we pay our taxes to receive this service. Please use it to full effect. Every time I've had a concern or scare and called the hospital saying, 'it's probably nothing, but...' I've actually had something serious that I would have dismissed otherwise.

On the occasion it was nothing at all, they were all very supportive and kind and didn't make me feel hysterical or stupid at all.

Always err on the side of caution! Smile
