I'm 6 weeks pregnant following IVF.
What you have to think about when looking at the success statistics is that they cover women with all kinds of fertility issues... with PCOS the reason for infertility is irregular ovulation and poor egg quality due to the hormones that control these being low or erratically secreted. With IVF this process is totally overridden...
Chances are you have a womb that is lovely and receptive to an embryo if its given the chance...
What I'm trying to say is that thinking about your own reasons for struggling to have a baby compared to all reasons women have IVF and you would be on the better side of average... So your personal success rate would be higher than the average success rate that the clinic reports...
What I have gathered from being on the IVF worriers thread is that everyone has had different symptoms starting at different times... I'm very tired, hungry all the time, craving salt, vinegar, olives, mustard, horseradish and fizzy drinks and very hormonal this week. This all started when I was 5weeks...
My first few weeks I didn't really feel much... Although my stomach looked huge...its was just fluid from the IVF though.
It's too early to feel much yet so don't panic. You may get a few cramping pains and some little implantation bleeds but that's all for the mo.
How's the medication going?
