First scan tomorrow....eeeek!!!!

I'm 12 weeks pg tomorrow and got my first scan. I'm mega excited, but just after some advice as to what is probably going to happen. Also, I've got to have some blood tests for Down's syndrome. I'm rubbish with needles and feel faint at the though of when they change the tubes Grin

Hi K8eee, it is my scan tomorrow too!!
Mine is at 09.40am, when is yours?

I have then got the whole day off work so I can go and visit friends and families and tell them the news!! So excited! Grin

Ah you lucky things!!!!!!! I've got to wait until 15:10 to have mine!!! Have you both got to drink a pint of water an hour before you go? Writer how's the sickness been? Ah congrats hugs!!! Smile Let me know ladies how you get on! Have you for blood tests too to have done after?

The sickness has cleared up thank God - I'm not sure I'd be able to keep the water down otherwise!! Grin I'm assuming I will be having my bloods done at the same time - it is quite easy to get blood out of me though so I'm not too worried about that Smile

Can you believe they are charging £10 per scan photo?! Shock

I'm in Yorkshire. I've just read my letter and have to drink a pint and a half of water :-(. I'm having the blood test after, then off to work. Not quite sure how useful I'll be lol!!!

How did you find out how much the scan photo was writer?

The only thing I don't like with the bloods is when they change the tubes, but I had three tubes taken Monday so I guess I have got to get used to it Grin

Ah just as well you re read your letter hugs! You two will be starting early! Hmm

The price of the scan photos was written on my appointment letter Smile

Mind you, when I had my emergency scan last week they let me have my photo free of charge.

Maybe they are just kinder in the EPAU? Grin
