FAKE LABOUR???

I'm 38+5 days with number 4 and last night started getting mild back ache that started pecking in waves it lasted around 3 -4hours then stopped I fell asleep as thought if it is real it will carry on if I'm asleep or not. But they stopped :( it's so so frustrating I didn't get anything then all night :(
Any way my question is has anyone else had this and if so did true labour follow soon after??? Or am I going to end up with on of contractions for the next few weeks ??

I had this for about 2 days before real Labour kicked in with my last ds. I kept telling dp I thought I was starting labour and timing the Braxton hicks to be regular and quite painful too. It can be annoying you get your hopes up then nothing happens x

Iv nothink all day Hun but starting to feel little uncomfy now. It's not coming in waves more like general uncomfy nowhere:( I'm so fed up if I'm honest. Hope really hope something starts soon.
I'm booked to see consultant on Wednesday for a sweep and date of induction. So I know I'm close ( 9 days infact ) but still omg I'm fed up with feeling rubbish now. I'm sorry to moan.
Oh I'm under consultant because my baby's big at 36weeks baby weighed 7lb 11oz :(

Oh hun, I know that feeling, iv still got a while to go with this one but he is dc5 and 3 out of my 4 have been late. And feel free to moan, were women it's what we do best Grin

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I've had this most nights for 3 weeks...I'm 41 weeks now :-(

I've had it on and off for a week too, getting worse - 6hrs for each of the last 3 days, still nothing Angry

I'm 39 weeks today and had no more fake contractions but have been losing alot more plug. Got the consultant tomorrow for a sweep and a induction date. It carnt come quicker as I want to know what's happening

Im 38+2 today and had this for over a week also. got checked today 3-4cms and soft but DD is not engaged so she could not just break waters incase of cord prolapse. I had a sweep so trying to get her engaged with any contractions that I am getting mucaus plug came away on friday past!

I want to see the consultant yesterday (Wednesday ) she sweeper and stretched me I'm 3cm dilated and soft x:) have been losing a lot of bloody plug today and possibly "clearing out" but that's it I feel very irritated tonight so have decide to lock my self away and having a bath.
I'm due on Tuesday 24th but got a induction date for Thursday 26th they are going to brake my waters as long as baby stays as engaged as he is at the moment . Thing is I feel pressure to go into labour b4 I have to be induced.
