Hi everyone

Im 14 weeks pregnant and have decided to have the baby adopted. At the moment I havent spoken to anyone about this but I know its the right decision.

Im scared about telling people, has anyone been through this?

Not been through it but I would suggest seeing your GP and see if you can have some counselling in order to help you through the pregnancy and afterwards.

You will need a lot of emotional support. I wish you all the best.

Hello Shiningstar,

That's quite a big decision you have made. What has led you to this? X

shiningstar22 · 14/09/2013 19:51

Its difficult to explain my decision on here, its not been easy deciding but ive made up my mind now and know its the right choice. I dont have many people in my life to who can help me with the emotional support, so far I have only told a friend who has been great.

I need to inform my manager at work soon that im pregnant and im really worried about that :(

Many people will struggle to understand your decision and others will try to change your mind. That's why I suggest professional counselling. Only tell people when you are feeling strong and happy in yourself.

I dont feel ready to tell people yet, but feel like im going to have to tell my manager for health and safety reasons.
