How many wks pg to get feeding bra fitted?

[Straightforward]

Can't remember this from last time. Am 36 wks and have the chance to be DD-free in Bravissimo this afternoon. Would it be too early?

I went and got mine yesterday, fitter checked how far gone I was first and said at 38+3 I was perfect.

I had mine fitted at 39 weeks, but still too small by the time dd was 4 weeks old. They just kept on growing...

after your milk has come in. Mine went up 2 cup sizes!! Anything bought before then would have been useless.

a good lingerie shop (who specialise in maternity/nursing) should be able to judge your post-milk-coming-in size. they advised me to go in as late as poss (i went at 38 weeks iirc) and she knew when i walked through the door what i would be then (34c) and what i'd be once milk was in (34d).

I did go to a good shop - good bras being essential to my very being - but sadly the prediction was wrong. I went from 36F to 36J. Miserable!!

Wait 'til after milk has come in, and settled down, you'll get a bit bigger once baby is born, then a bit bigger again. Any you buy before baby is born will be money wasted. ds1 I went up 1 cup size after he was born, ds2 - 2 cup sizes.

But if you have to stay in hospital with a C-section your milk's going to come in before you can go out to the bra shop--so I would get at least one bra to take to hospital with you. With DS I was fitted at 39 wks and the bra fitter got it right (36 J!!!!!!!!!!!).

they recommned between 34 and 38 weeks

i GOT MINE FROM M&S AND WAS ADVISED TO WAIT UNTIL MY BUMP WAS AT IT LOWEST...(Sorry didn't mean to shout that...)

Apparently it will then fit you better once baba arrived.
