Induced on Wednesday and still nothing

Well as above states, I got induced on Wednesday and Thursday with the gel and Friday they inserted a strip (sorry don't know what it is called) they kept me in the hospital to monitor.

My cervix is soft but still high up and I dilated 1-2 cm (that is already since Thursday)

I have contractions but not regular. Sometimes for an hour to two hours every 3-4 min but then every 5-10 min..

They want to put me on the drip, but I'm so tired already. My whole body hurts and from the cramping I can't sit without pain or go to washroom.

Anyone can tell me some positive story or did you end up with c-section?

Drip worked for me after a similar start. Give it a try but get an epidural so you can rest a bit. Good luck!

The gel did nothing for me either. The drip worked but it took a while, I was stuck at 2cm for an eternity! by the time I was ready to push, I'd almost forgotten why I was there.
I was in total agony until I an epidural a few hours after I got the drip. From then on everything was fine, I felt more relaxed and was able to sleep off and on. I wouldn't have coped without it.

Well, the gel did also not help. Just giving me a lot of cramps.. On the fourth day they finally put me on the drip. But because I was so exhausted from having contractions and the cramps I took the epidural as well. (Did plan on it) which I was glad I did later.
Good thing they induced me as I was so torn afterwards. And The original due date was sept 9..
Our beautiful baby boy Samuel arrived on Sunday sept 15 at 12:10 am..
