If I sit up straight my belly feels too heavy, I sit back and my back hurts. It doesn't seem to make a difference how ever I sit, something will pull/hurt/ache grrrrrrr.. anybody else?

I'm in the same boat. 32 weeks and nothing is comfy. Sitting, standing, lying it's all the same!! New issue is when I finally get comfy on my side in bed baby starts kicking on the side I'm lying on and it hurts! I'm also sick listening to myself moan...

LabradorMama · 13/09/2013 00:21

Same here at 33+6, nothing is comfy. Past few days have brought weird tummy pains and an extremely right bump to add to my SPD. I'm also fed up myself, I even moan about pregnancy being crap to the dogs and they're bored of me too Sad

LabradorMama · 13/09/2013 00:22

tight bump. Bloody fat fingers!

Sit on a bouncy gym ball thing. Brilliant.

I am almost 34 weeks and thought it was just me lol feel like no matter what I do where I sit or lay there is no room for movement baby also keeps kicking me in my right rib cage and it really bloody hurts so along with the braxton hicks all the time I am seriously ready to meet this little man now x

Totally second sitting on a gym ball. I've been ordered to sit on one when I can as my bubs is breech - I'm quite enjoying it, its nice and comfy and kind of forces you to sit with the correct posture (I'm a terrible sloucher!). Mind you, i have to fight my DD for it, who loves jumping about the living room on it! Hope you get comfy soon x

AnythingNotEverything · 13/09/2013 11:34

I'm 35 weeks and am only comfy sat right on the edge of a chair with my knees as far apart as I can get them, or propped up on my side against the arm of the sofa.

Not long to go though ladies!

Am 34 weeks too. Despite measuring small am really uncomfortable but also have SPD and piles -oh the glamour of pregnancy. At least weather has cooled down! Ball helps some times just not when toddler tries to climb on your back whilst you lean over ball!

SleepingWithABrokenHeart · 13/09/2013 20:28

I never felt like this with DD, and I don't have an exercise ball but dd has one of them balls you sit on and bounce, hahaha I'll have to borrow it see if it helps! The only problem is, even sitting with the right posture hurts, my bump just feels so heavy!

Just coming on to say ball and I see Im beaten to it. But really its so comfy. Im only 26weeks with dc2 but already back.on my ball.Grin

Have you tried sitting backwards on a dining chair, leaning forward on the backrest? Twas the only way I could sit with DD from 36ish weeks, sonographer suggested it would also discourage spine to spine positioning. And she wasn't Smile

MummyJetsetter · 13/09/2013 21:38

I'm 36 weeks now and feeling quite comfortable but up until about 3 weeks ago for a couple of months I was so uncomfortable sat down on an evening! Felt like I needed to lie on my front so felt like I needed a couch with a big hole in the middle to put my belly in! My belly just felt like it was squashing me however i sat! Hopefully you might come out the other side of it like I did! x

FreckleyGirlAbroad · 13/09/2013 23:17

37 weeks and our gorgeous new sofa has lost all its appeal unless I just perch on the edge. I'm another one who has to sit elegantly with with knees wide apart or preferably on my gym ball, back as straight as possible. Only real comfy petition is on my side in bed.

HeffalumpTheFlump · 13/09/2013 23:54

35+6 and I am so frigging uncomfortable it's unreal. The only way I can sit is leaning to the side with my legs curled up. I can hardly get up and down off the sofa now, and getting in and out of bed is awful :( my stomach muscles are stretched as far as they can go and they hurt!
