I am about to steal borrow my DH raincoat for walking our dogs.

For when i want to look slightly smart i'm just going to wear one of my usual coats undone with a nice scarf. I am 20+3 and remember from last pregnancy how much warmer than normal i was.

You're in luck I think because oversized coats are the big trend this winter. In a few weeks you should be able to pick one up pretty cheaply. Good luck!

I'm waiting on this to arrive in the post any day. I swore to myself I'd buy a secondhand maternity coat but reasoned that I could easily sell it on once I've had (probably minimal, due early november) use out of it and get £15 or so back.

ooh I looked at that coat in h + m but then talked myself out of it. hmmmm might go have a look tomorrow

I'm planning on wearing my usual coat/jackets undo e with big scarves. Failing that I'm looking out for a cape, then at least I'll wear it next year too.

I can't bring myself to spend much on a cost I'll only wear for a short time and cheap coats are not usually worth it ime.

I'm 22+4, so bump already means my autumn mac isn't closing!

Christ, 'scuse the typos, I'm on my phone!

I'm 17 weeks and bought a coat from new look yesterday. Its a regular coat but I can just do the top buttons up and there is a loose belt that I can tie quite high when bump is bigger. Snood I think its called, comfy and not tight fitting.
Good luck finding something

Ive just got a relatively cheap one from tesco in a size up. Its got waist draw strings so at the mo im pullin them in and will let them out as i expand. Really cudnt justify the expensive maternity ones
