pregnant? thoughts please

hi all would be great if you could give me some advice...

so me and my husband had unprotected sex at the end of the first week of august come the 15th roughly i had what i thought was my period though painless and very light only lasted maybe 2/3 days usually i bleed heavy an it lasts 5/6 days. anyway i do have very irregular periods usually have 2 a month have since i was about 14. im 24 now.

for the past week ive been having mild headaches and nausea, i havent actually been sick as such a couple of times in my throat ( sorry ) but other than that just feel sick and now for the past few days my breasts have been slightly sore been having to wear a sports bra as its the only thing that stops the soreness and i am incredibly tired think i could sleep all day if i let myself. also been very gassy.

some advice and thoughts on this would be very much appreciated havent got anyone to talk to about it

Does sound like might be early pregnancy symptoms,.but also could be down to other things - for example, have you come off contraceptive pill recently? That can cause these symptoms.
Would you feel OK about taking a pregnancy test? How would you feel if you are pregnant?

i came off of the pill about a year and a half ago i took a test yest afternoon an it was negative so im not sure whats going on

You could ask your gp for a blood test as this can be more accurate than a home test. Also if you are pregnant and it is very early days you may only get a positive test on first wee of the day as this is when the pregnancy hormones are strongest. Maybe test again in the morning?
