..and everything seems absolutely fine!

We are also expecting DS2! Grin

I am chuffed. I knew I was having a boy. Everybody was convinced I was having a girl but I knew, deep down.

So what is it like to have 2 sons? Smile

The BEST! Grin

I've got a 19 month age gap and it's fantastic, they are the best of mates , worst of enemies.

I get to re-use all the awesome, cute clothes too which has saved a fortune!

I can't tell you how chuffed I am. It would have been nice to have a girl but I think DS will love having a brother! We have so much stuff to sort out Grin Clothes wise.

I can't wait

Congratulations!

I have 2 DS and they love each other. They also love whacking each other with my sofa cushions and spend many happy hours play fighting. I love the fact that they don't have hair clips to fall out or have little handbags to cart around. They are gorgeous, but I am biased.

Congratulations - you'll love having 2 beautiful boys!

GreatJoanUmber · 10/09/2013 22:29

Congrats! My two are seriously the best of friends. They love each other so much! I do think from the children's point of view, having a same sex sibling is nicer as they are so much closer.
Oh and re: clothes - whenever DH rolls his eyes at me for spending too much on clothes for DS1; I can counter that it's an investment as DS2 will get to wear them too Grin

Congratulations. I have 5 sons and they are the world to me. My first two and last two are 15 months apart and love and hate eachother In equal doses . I totaly agree about siblings the same sex they have much more In common and are very close. Enjoy your beautiful boys xx

GreatJoan That's my argument too and actually there is sense in it - I don't mind buying Boden/expensive stuff as I know it'll get used twice!

My DS needs a friend to play with. I can't believe tell anyone how happy I am to be having another DS. I just can't wait now the new year is going to drag!

Ds1 first words: ball baby mama dada juice milk bye bye etc
Ds2 first words: [brothers name], Batman, Spiderman, up (as in, get me away from this lunatic brother of mine), no, mine

Sort of sums up the difference. Ds2 alternately adores, looks up to, hates and is afraid of his brother. As it will continue I guess!

I have 3ds' and the first 2 were so glad ds3 was about they cheered down the phone, I have a 5 year and 3.5 year gap and they all love each other.
