Does the size of your bump change throughout the day?

I know this might sound a bit mad but does anyone else notice their bump changing shape, size and firmness as the day progresses. I've just looked at mine (26 weeks today) and it's mahoosive and really firm but this morning it was quite soft and squidgy (sp?) and definitely not as big.

Even DP said it has quite noticeably changed since this morning!

Yes, normal!

completely!

Yup. I'm now 35 weeks and it changes from day to day too now.

Oh yes, by the end of the day my bump is very firm and big.
Also, the baby positions himself nice and high with his back along the front of the bump. So uncomfortable!

TheBreastmilksOnMe · 09/09/2013 21:44

Totally, it depends on how baby is lying and how much you've eaten/drunk.

Thanks for that. I had no idea that this would happen. (TBH I am pretty clueless about it all really!). Grin

It's amazing the stuff people don't tell you about being pregnant Grin

Oh GOD! The things I have learned since being pregnant! It's shocking that I didn't know most of it. I'm a secondary school teacher and the older girls keep asking me questions and I swear I am going to tell them the truth - they may never have children! Grin

Mine changes loads! Some days I think it's shrunk, then a couple of hours later it's bigger than ever. I guess it's all the wriggling, as well as normal changes after meals or going to the loo.
