DTD while pregnant

I know if you have no problems during pregnancy then you can carry on having the...um naughty times together but at 27 weeks with a very active bump did anyone feel weird doing it? I guess I just feel wrong as if we're doing it with the baby involved?! Did you stop altogether or carry on when you felt like it? Its not like I'm rampant but have been having those kinda dreams and think I just need a bit of a release and would like to feel close to DH at least a couple more times before baby arrives.

I'm 11 weeks and would love to have sex with my husband but due to 2 episodes of bleeding it is a no-no Sad

I can understand why you'd think it weird, I'm sure I would be the same at your stage. Also, cant the babies hear by then too? I'd be worried about my baby hearing to certain phrases/expressions that may be used during sex that might not be appropriate, haha Grin

it doesn't bother me knowing that the baby is right there, but I'm not exactly finding it a turn on either!! I'm getting near to 37 weeks now though so am going to have to get on with it in the hope it will evict the baby haha!!

It was how my sister's first baby was evicted Grin

I just dont know if I could relax and enjoy it especially if baby starts to move around and kick in the middle of things :S

We didn't DTD for a long time as I suffered with bleeding a lot. Then the other week we did and for about an hour afterwards baby didn't stop moving! Felt very strange knowing that us DTD had caused this movement. But I am trying not to let it put me off as think it will be a while afterwards before we can so want to make the most of it whilst we can xx

Currently 34 weeks and DP and I are still very active in that department although the bump does get in the way now lol

Being pg makes my sex drive go up and my dp loves it! We had lots of dtd with both previous pregnancies and once again my dp thinks its christmas come early :-).

It was this act that created the baby in question in the first place so i dont feel weird about it, the baby actually tends to go quiet at the time in my experience, maybe all that rythmic rocking?

And as a bonus orgasms are much more intense!

I asked DH and he said he didnt feel weird about it but hadnt really thought about it before so doesnt know how he would feel if we were to do it and baby started kicking right in the middle of things so I guess we both kinda feel like that would ruin it and we would have to stop if that happened but saying that its not very often that baby isnt moving about!
