Phone your midwife. They won't mind and can either see you or reassure you. Especially if your first was fast ..

Are you sure baby isn't kicking or pressing on your cervix? I get that and it HURTS!

LandsN · 09/09/2013 06:42

I don't feel too bad thank you and I think it is baby kicking my cervix and agree it hurts lol not been too bad. Will see what midwife says today but nothing regular so don't think it's anything to worry about thanks for your replies x

I felt this in later pregnancy, normally when if been overdoing things.

Easier said than done when you've got other children, but try and rest today :)

I had this a lot with dc2 from about 35 weeks, I really felt like I would go into labour at any moment but ended up going to 40+12! Hmm I never did find out what it was but assume it must have been kicks or excessive wriggling.

LandsN · 10/09/2013 10:07

midwife said baby is head down so its not kicking but midwife didn't seem to think there was a problem even though I have got up today and feel really awful bad stomach etc just hoping it passes quickly taking it easy on the sofa at the moment baby is moving like mad this morning just hope I am not getting a bug thanks for all your replies x
