Sorry I'm not sure if this is even the right thread to be on but anyway...
I finished my period a week ago, my husband and I had sex on tues and on wed I had cramping and then spotting in my panties( its never happened before)! I now have severely sore boobs like I wud when I'm about to have my period! My daughter is now 3 and I can't remember the symptoms I had when I first conceived her but I'm pretty sure it wasn't this quick so I'm slightly worried its possibly something else and not pregnancy? I turned 30 in April and have heard things change when u turn 30, could this be the case? Sorry I know it's not really a question but would like some feed back if anyone else has had this happen!

Well from my experience it is possible

I am on baby number 5 and each of mine were conceived within 4 days of my period ending.

With this one, I knew as soon as I felt the painful breasts that I was pregnant, this was also about a week after we DTD and it was another 2 weeks before I could take the test.

Spotting could have been an implantation bleed?

I think to DTD on Tuesday then feel implantation pain on the Wednesday may be a little quick. It normally takes about 6 to10 days for a fertilised egg to travel through the fallopian tube and implant in the womb. See NHS link below. But you could be pregnant if you had unprotected sex.

With regards your query about things changing when you turn 30. I am 37 and I never noticed/felt anything change when I turned 30. In fact I still haven't noticed any change and I am 37. What have you heard changes at 30? Confused

Your period may not have been a period but an implantation bleed. My sis had what seemed like a normal period but had pregnancy symptoms a few days later and was pg. I would pee on a stick and then again in a week if you are negative.

It takes 6 days to implant from ovulation not from DTD. If like me op ovulates as her period ends it is quite possible it is implantation on Wednesday.

LittlePeaPod · 07/09/2013 21:25

Not sure if your note was in response to mine 4athome. It's actually 6/10 days post fertilisation I think that's what I wrote which is 12-24 hours after ovulation. I was answering the query regarding DTD on Tuesday and then possible implantation Wednesdy. That would be unlikely. But having any unprotected sex through any period gives a real chance of getting pregnant.

Oops forgot to say. Good luck Op if you are ttc.. Keeps us posted. Wink

Hi pod, yes as I read that link it says 6-10 days after ovulation (not fertilisation)
