Feeling baby move at 19 weeks

Hi all,
I am currently 19+4 and think I have been feeling baby move for a week or so. Haven't felt anything today and was wondering if I should be worried? I know it's early to feel something but this is the first day I haven't really...
Over reaction? Do you feel the baby every day at this stage?

I started to feel mine at around 19wks (now 21+4) and didn't feel it every day. I generally do now, usually in the evening but I wouldn't worry about it.

I guess you have your next scan soon?

It's about the right time to feel the first movements from baby, I felt my DS at about 20 weeks, and no, it's not every day at first, but soon becomes so as they grow. Your baby is still small enough to move about a bit without you feeling him, try not to worry, you'll have more movements soon enough.

I only felt baby butterflies at night at that stage, as that was the only time I was quiet and still enough to notice. Don't worry! As yoni said. Scan next week?

I had flutters on and off from about 17 weeks but certainly not every day. I'm 20 weeks and 5 days now and I've only been feeling movement everyday since Sunday although they're now more roundhouse kicks than the gentle little tickles I was getting before!

I might be wrong but I think a lot of people say you shouldn't worry too much about regular movements until after 26 weeks, maybe even later as earlier than that there's still so much room that they can thrash about without you noticing.

Congratulations though, it's a really weird but wonderful feeling Grin

Thanks for the reassurance! Yes I have a scan next Wednesday so I guess I'll find out more then. I had a private scan at 16 weeks and all was good so that's something. As you can see I am slightly neurotic...

Don't worry juicyjuice, neurotic is normal I think! Wink

Enjoy seeing your baby wiggle loads at your scan!

Thanks yoni!
