So I have just hit 29 weeks and I have already had enough and want my body back! I feel like I spend all day in the toilet and every time I try and do something I have to run back to the loo!
My feet look like they are going to burst out of my shoes and my SPD is killing me!! I can't bend down to get to the plates in the cupboards anymore because my massive stomach gets in the way!
I just want my baby here and to be able to get back to normal without all the aches and pains!!

Don't get me wrong I know she is going to be worth it, I am just exhausted with it all and needed a little rant.

Anyone else feeling this way? I feel awful as I know there are people who would love to be pregnant but I've just hit that stage were I can't wait for it to be over!!

Sorry about the big rant xx

Not just you. I totally feel like you! 30+1.

Frenelder · 05/09/2013 12:34

I'm almost 26 + 5 and not enjoying PG at all.
First 14 weeks I was sick & tired so didn't nothing & didn't even manage to get to work most days. Had a couple of ok weeks then PGP came.
I'm normally very slim so having this huge (maybe a small exaggeration but it feels huge) bump to carry around while I'm in pain, not sleeping etc is no fun.
Pregnacy is not what I thought it would be.
Have you watched the comedy What To Expect When Pregnant? I feel like the lady who runs that baby shop, I was expecting to glow & be full of energy - what a load of crap I didn't think pregnacy glow & bursts of energy really exists.
This is all more than worth it yes but doesn't mean it's enjoyable.
Feel better for my rant ;-) x

34 weeks here. PGP horrendous (but have a physio app booked so am hoping for the best). Horrible dreams each time I sleep. Periods of breathlessness for some reason. INDIGESTION. Hormonal night sweats. Colostrum leaking boobs.

It is a good job I really like babies Grin. Pregnancy might not be an illness but it certainly feels like one

Chilli81 · 05/09/2013 13:01

Me too. Me too. I hate SPD! It makes me feel like i'm 90 and makes me waddle so everybody thinks I'm about to pop when I'm only actually 27 weeks.
OP it is not just you. I know we should be grateful to be pregnant etc but feels good to rant.

FraggleRock77 · 05/09/2013 13:55

It's dragging for me. Still only 23 Wks!!!!! Eek x

Queazy · 05/09/2013 13:57

Not just you. 41w 5d and had had enough about 6 weeks ago...! Smile

EmB1715 · 05/09/2013 14:05

I'm with you at 27 weeks!

Excited2meetmyprincess · 05/09/2013 14:08

Ah I am sooo glad its not just me!!!
frenelder I have seen that movie and feel exactly the same!! No one prepares you for all this!
I haven't had leaky boobs yet but know that is going to come soon as I am quite surprised I have gotten away with it so far! My friends had it a lot earlier (3 of us pregnant at same time and one having perfect pregnancy with glow and everything!! I hate her at the min lol)
It is so good to rant sometimes though as really don't think DH understands!
I have 9 weeks til my c section and I am counting the minutes never mind weeks lol xx

Yep I'm with you!!

I'm 32+4 and feeling completely useless!

I read a thread on here a few weeks ago about what stage do you feel heavily pregnant and I remember thinking oh I don't feel heavily pregnant at all and mentioned it to my partner.

At about 31 weeks we were moving house and although I wasent moving much I just felt exhausted and thought "yep, I'm heavily pregnant now!"

I've since developed a classic pregnancy waddle and my bump seems to have grown huge overnight!

Excited2meetmyprincess · 05/09/2013 14:45

Oh LJ I totally agree. We moved house a couple of weeks ago and I was exhausted afterwards. Still trying to get house ready for baby but feel like I do a bit then I'm shattered and end up sitting down for an hour!! Plus everything takes twice as long between the waddle, bump and SPD!!
I really have not enjoyed being pregnant at all x

Almost 28 weeks and can't wait to evict my womb squatter.

extracrunchy · 05/09/2013 15:27

It is absolutely definitely not just you Thanks

Excited2meetmyprincess · 05/09/2013 19:07

Its crazy how we think we are going to be all glowing and happy and then bang it hits us!!! X

Stom91 · 05/09/2013 19:38

I feel the same and im only 24+6.
I feel like there is forever to go.

Just got to keep telling ourselves it will be worth it!
Fed up if being in pain and tired . I actually think I'll be less tired when baby is here ad hopefully I'll be in less pain!

I can't even get the nursery ready or organise little bits as we are moving around my due date but don't know the date of the move yet

Its killing me.
I wanted to like being pregnant but I acryakky hate it and can't wait for it to be over lol x

Excited2meetmyprincess · 05/09/2013 21:57

stom I totally agree, there is no way having a baby will make me this tired. Because at the minute I can't sleep more than 45 mins without needing a wee and I am thinking that baby will sleep more than 45 mins at a time xx

Stom91 · 05/09/2013 22:02

Yeah i sad I'll be less tired when dd is here.. And she looked at me like.. Yeah right!
But it's true.. I won't be in so much pain and I'll be comfy.. I don't care about getting up every 2 hours as I'll sleep between.. Which is more than I'm doing now!

And if i can extra tired I can sleep in the day when dd sleep.... I have it all planned but it probably won't happen! Lol.

Yea I hate peeing all the time.. Its more like a chore now haha i hate it x

Excited2meetmyprincess · 05/09/2013 22:05

I will defo get more sleep when she is here whether its in the day or night. And there is no way I can possibly be in as much pain as I have been the last seven months!

I honestly don't think I can ever do this again!! DD will end up being an only child! Haha x

Stom91 · 05/09/2013 22:16

That exactly what I said to dp!
And if we do then I'm going to need at least 5 years to recover lol.
DP said.. 'nah I didn't feel anything we can have 10'
The next few words were rude... Also along the line of I'll castrate him myself haha

Excited2meetmyprincess · 05/09/2013 22:55

Haha my DP has agreed with me cos I have been backwards and forwards to the hospital since I found out I was pregnant with bleeding, SPD and then contractions at 24 weeks!! So think he is stressed out with it all now and not ready to do it all again any time soon lol x
