And I'm only 6+6. The GP did a dipstick test and it's flagged something up (no protein or blood thankfully) and has prescribed amoxicillin until the result from the lab comes back.

I've never had antibs for cystitis before, always just those OTC sachets an cranberry now I'm very nervous about taking stuff so early in pregnancy. I hope it'll be ok Hmm

You'll be fine. Amoxicillin is perfectly fine to take in pregnancy so don't worry.
I've had 3 UTI's so far this pregnancy and baby is still in there safe and sound. The worst bit by far is the horrid symptoms, but you'll start to feel a lot better in a couple of days. Keep taking your antibiotics till the end of the prescribed course though, even if you feel better. Just to warn you, the antibiotics may give you thrush. You can use canesten cream for that :)

Hi op, get yourself to a good health shop and ask for sugar free cranberry. Supermarket stuff won't do and may encourage more problems due to sugar. It is about ten quid for the big bottle. A tiny bit of that regularly diluted will ward off more UTI infections.. Hard to drink though an I normally love cranberry.
