Fly Spray - safe to use?

This might seem really stupid but last night while we were watching TV a huge spider ran across the living room floor which DH attacked with fly spray - quite a lot too.
Afterwards I started to worry about the chemicals in it and obviously Google made it worse by telling me all sorts of things about it attacking the nervous system. I'm six weeks so this really scared me.
Do you think I should be worried or am I being silly?

Its been done now so no point worrying about it but i would avoid using it again just in case.

Try bashing with a shoe or the hoover for any more spiders Grin

Thanks Cravingcake, I got myself in a right state over it!

I've been using it loads, I'm 33 weeks pregnant and fine. As long as you're not inhaling a ridiculous amount of it I'm sure it's ok.

Does fly spray even kill spiders? Bash it with something next time. Wasps are fair game on the other hand.

No, Smitten it doesn't. It was a desperate attempt to stun in before it ran under the sofa. It didn't work and came creeping up the wall five minutes later and scared the life out of my brave (ahem) DH.
