Hi ladies,

30 weeks & have been suffering with heartburn & reflux at night time. I am struggling to sleep on my side as it makes it worse!!

Anyone got any top tips on coping with this. I am forever clambering to sit up to make it go away!! But I need some sleep- help !
Xx

I am very grateful that gaviscon original (peppermint!) works for me.

It sooths it enough so I can get to sleep. Sometimes I wake up in the middle or the night (3am-ish) and take some more.

Failing that a glass of milk!

This is available free on prescription too! Smile

I had this really badly from about 20 weeks. I just can't sleep propped up. I went to the docs and he prescribed omeprazol and gaviscon.

I take omeprazol every day around 8pm, and keep gaviscon by the bed for a middle of the night swig!!

Mainly managing, though its still flares up from time to time.

Thank you ladies! Gaviscon before bed did the trick!
