Just that really I'm in enough of a state just want to pick one up, go to a self serve checkout and walk out. Is that too much to ask?

No they won't. They aren't an age restricted item. The only reason they put security tags on them is because they are very expensive and get stolen quite frequently.

Not being judgemental but how old are you? It may be an idea to try and get along to your nearest family planning clinic. You can find them on google. They are completely confidential and will test you for free.

I find buying things online to be a good way to avoid the embarrassment factor. Although did buy my last preg test in Morrisons as I made a user error with the last one I had. Luckily the cashier didn't say a thing!
