When to start taking iron??

I'm only 4+2 but suffered with anaemia on my last pregnancy. Can it be taken before 12 weeks?

You might not need it this time, I needed iron tablets with my 1st 2 pregnancies but with my 3rd and 4th I didn't. I would wait until told to by the midwife.
