Nearly 8 weeks pregnant back pain and cramping is this normal

I've got lower back pain and cramping around my pelvic area like period pains. I also have pain in my groin. I am constipated and feel a bit gassy . I'm worried about the pains is this normal

I had a bit of cramping on and off throughout first trimester. However at about 10 weeks or a bit earlier I had awful period type pains, but stronger. I was convinced of the worst. However, I messaged my sister who has 2 dc and she said she had the same with both of her pregnancies and had been equally worried at the time, but all was well. I think it was just pain from everything stretching and moving about, I'm 38 weeks now so was all fine.

But, if you are worried, give your midwife or Dr a call. Always best to put your mind to rest if needs be
