Possible slow leak or discharge?

Hi, I've namechanged for this as Blush
I've just been to the loo and had to strain a bit Blush
Any way as I did I felt a small gush which did not feel like it was pee. On further inspection Blush it was clear runny and from what I remember from last time, sweet smelling like amniotic fluid.
I'm only 23 weeks and don't feel like I'm leaking now.
Any thoughts or advice?

Can you ring your midwife? If you think there's a chance you could be leaking fluid you need to get it checked out.
I had exactly this as well and it turned out just to be urine and my discharge has increased significantly so don't panic.

Please do go and get checked, its easy for them to tell if your waters are intact, and its better to be safe than sorry. If it is just increased discharge they don't mind

Any more news this morning?

Just a bit damp Blush. Think it must just be extra discharge as I've read that even with a slow leak you'd soak a pad in half an hour.
Thanks for the replies x

I was convinced my waters were leaking in first pregnancy but it turned out to be urine. I have the same problem this time around so just wear liners when I remember. Obviously better to be checked out if worried but I think it is common to be wee
