Hi Smile

The doctors don't re-test now as the home kits are so good these days Smile

I know what you mean though - I got pregnant fairly quickly and had nausea, some sickness and tiredness but still worried that I'd get to my 12 week scan and they'd say I made it all up!! I'm now 27 weeks Smile

I think lots of people feel this way but it sounds like things are going well for you - not everyone is actually sick Smile

Good luck with your scan!

Anothermrssmith · 29/08/2013 20:45

I also went to my 12 weeks scan convinced I had managed to misread 2 separate tests, was amazed that there was actually something in there. The day after I started getting morning sickness as well, it's like my body needed the evidence that I was pregnant before the morning sickness kicked in!

Congratulations!

I was sure there would be nothing on the scan and was really surprised when they turned the screen around to show me my baby! Almost everyone I've spoken to has felt the same way so you're not alone it is totally normal. I wasn't sick at all, had a little bit of nausea and lots of trapped wind and sore boobs, I never felt particulaly pregnant! Congratulations and good luck.

I am in the same position Bristol, we tried for years and got really lucky in our first round of fertility treatment. We get a scan at nearly 7 weeks but I'm so worried its not real or something bad is going to happen. I cannot wait until I know everything is going to be ok! Since I found out I've been so happy, I don't want to ruin it by worrying :)

Danilou22 · 30/08/2013 11:05

I had that with my first and now pregnant again I still worried that they would not find anything at the 12 week scan and they actually found 2!!!

It is normal to feel this way I think x

I was totally shocked when no one has wanted to confirm I was pregnant. I feel a bit the same I've took loads of tests but would of been nice for doc to say yep but the shop bought tests are really good. I'm 8 weeks and I have no scan date yet. I don't no how I can wait another month it's is making me crazy. I do have horrific sickness and my boobs are like boulders lol so these things keep reminding my I'm pregnant lol 5 days not long to go it will fly by and you will have a lovely pic of your growing baby

hey,

I am in the same boat (11 - 3), have had very few symptoms so not sure what to expect or how things are going?

My only symptoms are a much bigger appetite, really slight sick feeling but nothing i can't put out of my mind, really good sense of smell, bigger tender boobs and slight dizzy feeling. No cramping or spotting at all.

They can't fit me in for the scan until i will be 13 weeks, DH and I have told no one at all! the only comfort I get are reading on here that some ladies had virtually no symptoms and all was fine.

Really hope all goes well with your scan and you will have to update us!!

x

Don't worry just think yourself lucky! I've been pregnant 3 times, first early pregnancy was symptomless other than sore boobs and raging hunger, second I felt nauseous day and night and then miscarried at 7 weeks. I'm now pregnant again (20 weeks) and again had no sickness or nausea and just very sore boobs and hungry.

Many people don't really have symptoms but tend to stay quiet about it!! Grin

SadPander · 07/09/2013 17:12

Was really worried about my lack of symptoms but am now 25 weeks, its hard to get your head around but more symptoms doesn't mean you're more pregnant, so please don't worry! I know you still will, but you'll get to see the proof for yourselves soon!

Bristol1983 · 09/09/2013 20:36

thank you so much ladies - will keep you posted. .. 3 days to go..... Grin Grin

Good luck bristol and dont worry, i was convinced with both DCs that i would get to the scans and there would be nothing there even thoigh i had severe morning sickness, i also remember going to docs with a sample to confirn preg and they wouldnt test it as they said the home tests are just as accurate, couldnt believe it!!

MisselthwaiteManor · 10/09/2013 08:47

I was the same, it's a common feeling. I had terrible sickness, insomnia, sore boobs etc etc and still didnt believe it! I took a test every single day for a while. My baby is now 3 months and currently sleeping on my lap so there was definitely something there Grin good luck

PrincessKitKat · 10/09/2013 08:51

Good luck! My friend goes for her 12 week scan today & I have mine in 2 weeks - we have just had this exact conversation! 'What if there's nothing there and they think we made it up?!'

We're all the same Smile Good luck!

Bristol1983 · 12/09/2013 22:08
