Which is the "real" result for the combined screening?

I'm assuming it's the adjusted but the letter I got this morning isn't very clear?

I'd assume adjusted is more specific for you (ie based on yor measurements/bloods) and "background" is an average risk for all pregnancies (or possibly an average risk for your age).

I would have thought background means general estimate according to your age/race and adjusted means "taking into account actual blood tests and other specifics".

Not helpful though!

I think you're right Horry, but having looked again anyway all the Big Numbers are all on the report addressed to my GP (not me) which has just been copied to me so I obviously don't need to worry my little head about it anyway.........

Thanks for answering tho
