Hi
So I'm 23+4.. I suffer from a bad back usually and i have joint problems...
I've just had 10 days off due to exhaustion.. While I was off i wasnt in so much pain and i was sleeping alot.
Since I've been back at work I am in so much pain everything ache. I can't move very well. It kills to jusy roll over in bed and im so tired again. I'm not sleeping as well asI was due to pain.. I can't take the strong pain killer I usually take so trying to get through it.

But today I've just hot rock bottom the pain is too much I'm so tired... I just feel. Like I'm letting dp down because I just can't do it.
Its 5 weeks until I can go on official mat leave... I'm thinking of going off sick but if I do then we will really struggle with bills.

I just don't know what to do. I balled my eyes out this morning... Work are being a pain... As treating me awful.

The baby can feel when I'm in pain as she doesn't move about as much. I'm trying to stay positive but I'm really stuggling..

If you've read this fat thanks. Could really do with some reassurance x

Aww Stom you poor thing Sad I've had/have some pelvic pain but doesn't sound as bad as yours does Sad

You don't say what your job is? Have your employers done a risk assessment - they should have done this so insist on one if they haven't. If they have, ask for a meeting with your manager/HR person and see if it can be updated to take account of how you are feeling now.

You're not letting anyone down - you're suffering and doing your best.

If you did go off sick would you get any sick pay at all? Do you have any family who may be able to help you out with bills a bit?

I think you need to make an emergency appointment with your GP/MW for some further help and support.

I hope you feel better soon xx

Stom I'm so sorry you're struggling! I had bad PGP/SPD from c 25 weeks and found chiro really helped - could you get referred or do you have health ins thru work?
Congrats on the PG and please be gentle on yourself, it's hard work growing an entire human. Thanks

Hey thanks for your advice.

I work in catering.. In a private hospital. Take food teas etc to patients.. On my feet for 7 hours.

I have been off sick for 10 days. Came back to work couple days ago.

I don't get sick pay only SSP from the government... I did the housing benefit calculator and we would only be entitles to £18 per week and we pay £625

I had a risk assessment awhile ago. But it didn't cover much and my boss didn't really care... I still have to load the dishwasher with heavy trays and empty the binwhich can get heavy... My work ashirts are getting small so he made me buy a new one and said he would buy some after I bought it... This is not getting tight and he still won't get me anymore..

Its 5 weeks until I can leave official and i just don't k ow if i can survive.

As for family my parents don't have much money but they have been helping buy clothes for LO etc xx

God that's awful, I'm so sorry for you. I really don't think your boss is allowed to treat you like that. Could you maybe repost this in the HR section? I think there will be some more knowledgeable people there who can help you better.
