New stretch marks are not purple??

I'm 33 weeks pregnant and discovered a load of new stretchmarks under my bump. These stretch marks are very pale pink/white and not angry red/purple which is what I was expecting. Will they stay this pale colour or do the get worse before they get better?

I never got the angry red stretch marks luckily, they stayed pale/white in my previous pregnancy and so far in this pregnancy that's all I've got. Hopefully they will stay the same. Though I do have more this time.
So hopefully they'll stay the same for you too.

Thank you, that's reassuring. I was dreading the day they would appear (it was inevitable) but I was shocked when I saw them because I had no idea they were there because they were skin coloured!!! If they stay like that then I can just about get my head around it!

I didn't have a single stretch mark with number 1 until 36 weeks. Then a small pale mark on one side. By 41 weeks, I liked like a tiger from knickers to bra!
I think everyone is different and you just cant predict. All you can do is pray!

We are tigers that earn our stripe!. Grrrrrr!

God, I'm on number 4 and my stomach looks like the dreaded road map!! I don't get new ones any more my old ones just extend
