pregnancy after miscarriage

Hi. I miscarried on the 23rd july and only bled for 2 days (including spotting) unusual I thought but never had mc before so didn't know what to expect. Had hcg bloods a week later levels were right down so mc was confirmed.

So now 27th august no period so did a clear blue digital and im pregnant. According to the indicator im 2 to 3 weeks.
Does this seem very quick to any of you? Im worried although I was only a couple of weeks before.
Any thoughts very much welcome x

Well I conceived immediately after a mc without having a period.
It is possible that this has happened to you too.
Why don't you test again in a week?

Yea I think I will just to make sure lol. I find myself so worried tho that something will go wrong but Iust admiI feel good and confident about this pregnancy aalready x

I meant I feel more confident and better about this one. Im further gone this time too so fingers crossed x

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. If it was really early before (i.e. probably under 5 weeks gestation) then chances are good this is a new pregnancy. Did you get a number with your hcg bloods?

There is a risk it could be an ectopic from the previous pregnancy as numbers can be seriously slow to rise. I would see your GP as soon as possible and ask for two blood tests 48 hours apart to get a clearer picture of what is going on.

Ive had 2 lots of blood in total. 1 when I was taken into a and e when the miscarriage began levels then were 7 so not high but positive for pregnancy. 2nd was a week or just over later and levels had dropped below 1 so definately a negative there.
Pretty sure this is a new pregnancy also because I did a home pregnancy test 2 days after my bleeding stopped amd that too was negative xx

I had ERPC 4 July and haven't had a period, did a pregnancy test Friday and it came back positive, I've had spotting since Saturday, epu are sure it's new pregnancy but have told me to do a pregnancy test next week and booked me in for a scan on the 10 sept :/

Ah good luck with your scan purplefrogshoe have my fingers crossed for you. Midwife faxed my papers yesterday so will hopefully be in for early scan too x

Same thing happened to me, had a mc at 5 weeks, a week later negative pregnancy test. 4 weeks later I was pregnant again, i've had an 8 week scan and all looks ok so far (I was worried as I have also had a mmc), now currently 9 weeks, counting down to 12 week scan xx

Hi ladies, I just wanted to wish u the best of luck for ur pregnancies, I had 1 mmc and 3 mc's I am currently 33wks pregnant with our 5th pregnancy and the worry never goes away after being through that, So I know the wait for scans and tests are just dreadful so I am keeping my fingers crossed for u all xx
